How to Vote

A basic visual guide on how to vote can be obtained here in two formats: PDF or PNG

Text instructions are as follows:

Senator Online will be on the white Senate ballot paper – above the line in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA. Senator Online will not be contesting the ACT and NT.

All you need to do is look above the line to locate “Senator On-Line” and mark a “1” in that box. There is no need to mark any other box on the white ballot paper in order to cast your vote for Senator Online.

Our preferences are organised solely to maximise our chances of getting a senator elected. If you require detailed information on our preferences, click here. If you would rather, you can vote below the line and number all boxes, but number the SOL candidates 1 and 2.

The green ballot paper is for the House of Representatives and votes here will ultimately determine which party is elected to form government. Senator Online is not contesting the House of Representatives.

Submit your own flyer

If you have a flyer idea or have designed your own flyer, feel free to submit them to us; your design may end up on this page. Contact us at the address flyers@senatoronline.org.au and we will review your suggestion.
