Endorse a Candidate

Senator Online is undertaking a national search for its Senate candidates for the next Federal Election. Displayed on this page are our aspiring candidates. You can join the list - see the Become a Senator page for more details.

Here is where you can endorse or donate to an inspiring SOL senate candidate. This is Phase 1 of the selection process.

You can endorse a candidate by becoming their Facebook friend and also liking the SOL facebook fan page or you can endorse a candidate on this website by voting for someone.

YOU CAN ONLY ENDORSE ONE CANDIDATE and any votes you make here can not be undone.

Candidates that achieve at least 100 endorsements and raise at least $200 will qualify for Phase 2- Selection by a national vote. Aspiring candidates are reminded that Phase 2 will be open for a relatively short period and therefore it is important to get as many people as possible to endorse you now. We will send reminders to all endorsers (both Facebook & website) at the beginning and during Phase 2, to cast their votes – so the more endorsements you get during this phase the better chance you will have in being selected as the primary Senator Online candidate for your state.

Our senate candidates for the next federal election will be the one in each state that receives the most valid votes during Phase 2 and sign the SOL Senator Undertaking. Their name will be on the next federal election ballot papers and Senator Online will spend a minimum of $10,000 on each to help get them elected to Federal parliament. All funds raised will be spent on getting the six SOL endorsed candidates elected as senators in Federal Parliament.
